Dr. David Gorski recently delivered a a talk to the National Capital Area Skeptics on what he and others call “Quackademic Medicine,” which is medicine that tries to incorporate “alternative medicine” like homeopathy and validate it all under the auspices of holistic care. Anyway, he does a better job explaining it than I do.
