If you know me, you know that I’ve been more and more involved in autism awareness and advocacy, mostly because of my struggles against the anti-vaccine forces that continue to claim that autism is a side-effect of vaccines, contrary to all the evidence. In this online program aired by Al Jazeera English television, several autistic people and their relatives are portrayed and interviewed, showing us that people with autism are not “lost” or “absent,” they’re just a variation of normal.
