      1. I can imagine. It’s been a few of years since I had any form of butternut squash soup, think I’m overdue.
        I usually also toss dill weed in as well.

        Other favorites are cock-a-leakie soup, another British (I think) chicken soup with oat meal and home made duck soup (I typically use the head, feet and neck to make the base, then any leftover duck gets stripped into the soup).
        I’m also partial to fried parsnips.
