I’m still working on the dissertation. The completed draft is due next week and the final not too long after that. Then it’s on to plan the final defense seminar and exam. So things are moving very fast around here. Too fast to tell you about how my life changed when I learned the meaning of the word “pathology,” or how mom buying me that old microscope at a garage sale in El Paso changed everything all over again. Then again, I might have told you that story already…
