This is the blog/website of “Epi Ren,” an epidemiologist who is currently a doctoral student at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. My research interests have always been about infectious disease. However, I have lately gotten interested in applying communicable disease epidemiological methods to social problems. When there is an “outbreak” of violence, heroin overdoses or social unrest, we should treat them like true outbreaks. And I believe epidemiology can help.
If you want more information about me, you’re going to have to do it the old fashioned way. (There used to be a contact form around here somewhere.) I’m sure you’ll figure out a way.
As with any personal blog/webspace, any and all opinions here are solely those of the author and not necessarily those of his friends, employers, relatives, schools, etc.
