The Grand Canyon

My wife and I escaped Phoenix for a couple of days and went up to the Grand Canyon. We had never been there. It was pretty awesome. (I've seen the Copper Canyon in Mexico, which is bigger, but different.) We took some pictures. Most were taken by her, though.

My Favorite Photographs of 2016

Another year, another ten thousand photographs. Seriously, I took that many. Between my iPhone, my DSLR and my mirrorless (the same little camera that traveled with me to Colombia), I took about ten thousand photographs. Not all of them were good. Maybe one or two were great. However, there were several that are my favorites ...

I took this picture as my wife and I walked in downtown Belize City. These children were on a bike, just sitting there. The little girl waved at me as I snapped the picture. I love, love, love the amount of life they give off in their eyes. You can see the rest of the ...

Picture of the day: The Alpha Male

We met this little guy while in Roatán, Honduras. He is the alpha male of a small group of about 15 Capuchin monkeys on the island. They were given to a nature preserve when their owners couldn't take care of them. You can see the rest of the monkey pictures by clicking here.

I went out and took some pictures of the Moon

I still don't understand how people can look at the Moon and not be amazed by it. I'm also confused as to why our elected leaders are making it so hard for us to get off this rock and go to places like the Moon or Mars or beyond. In the meantime, here are some great pictures and a video that I took.
